Stores Manager

The Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry (PAC) within the Faculty of Science is seeking to appoint a motivated and service-focused Stores Manager to support the delivery of teaching and research activities across our laboratories and technical facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy technical team within a leading research-intensive environment. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operation of the Departmental Stores, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, control, and distribution of chemicals, consumables, equipment, and specialist items. You will play a key role in supporting procurement processes, stock control, goods receipting, hazardous materials handling, and compliance with university financial and health & safety procedures. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide a responsive, customer-focused service to academic, research and technical colleagues.
