Student Administrative Specialist - Federal Work Study
Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the Public Safety department on the Dahlonega campus. We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented student employee to support the Criminal Investigations Division, Campus Victim Advocate in the management of scheduling and calendar, assisting with administrative office duties, coordinating and preparing for community engagement events, and tracking and reporting statistics. The ideal candidate will be organized, empathetic, and have a strong interest in contributing to the division's mission of student success and well-being of community members. This position offers valuable exposure to victim advocacy and experience with community outreach, data management, and administrative support.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in community engagement or public service.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive material.
Required Qualifications
- Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
