Student Affairs Communication Specialist
Position Summary
The Student Affairs Communication Specialist will be responsible for supporting the communication and marketing efforts of the division. This position will work collaboratively with campus partners to design multimedia marketing campaigns to share across channels to enhance student engagement and participation in events and campus traditions. Under the supervision of the Director of Communications, this position will write and edit various communication materials, including website content, social media posts, newsletters, and email campaigns. This position would have shared responsibility for the recruitment and supervision of the Student Marketing Team. The candidate for this role must have experience in graphic design, social media management, and written communication.
Minimum Education/Experience/Skills
Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Work Schedule and Hours: Typical hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evenings and weekends work may be needed to meet the needs of the department and University. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
