Are you keen to get involved on campus and help create a fun, welcoming student experience? CQUniversity is seeking enthusiastic Student Ambassadors to support campus life activities. This flexible role offers hands-on experience delivering events that bring students together while building confidence and real-world skills.

You will:

• Support the delivery of campus life events such as Movie Nights, Pizza Lunches and Morning Teas.
• Promote on campus activities through social media platforms.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to students and stakeholders.
• Assist with event set up, pack down and general coordination.
• Complete routine administrative tasks including preparing materials, managing merchandise and stationery and filing.
• Use initiative to resolve simple issues while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Position Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including public speaking and administrative experience.
• Strong customer service skills and an understanding of a culturally diverse university community.
• Proven time management and organisation skills.
• The appointee will be required to work outside the normal span of hours from time to time (night events).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, information systems and social media platforms.
• A current Australian driver’s license.
• Blue Card (Working with Children positive notice) – to comply with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 regulated employment in education and care services and similar employment.
