- Have demonstrated proficiency with data reporting and
integrated enterprise systems (Workday or equivalent).
- Have experience supporting programmatic accreditation or
experiential placements preferred.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication,
organizational, and analytical skills, with accuracy and
confidentiality in record-keeping and communications.
STUDENT SUCCESS COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Student Success Coordinator responsibilities must include, but
are not limited to:
- Serves as deputy to the Associate Dean and Assistant Deans for
the Division of Student Success, owning the processes, standards,
and systems that govern day-to-day operations across the Student
Experience and Experiential Learning units of the Division.
- Supports student engagement efforts, including planning and
coordination of events, activities, caterings, logistics, student
surveys, and related engagement efforts.
- Designs and maintains division dashboards that serve as the
single, authoritative source of student-facing data for
decision-making, accreditation reporting, and institutional
requests.
- Owns preparation of agendas, materials, and action item
tracking for Division leadership and team meetings; captures
decisions and drives follow-through to completion.
- Supervises and coordinates divisional support staff, including
work study students, graduate assistants, and temporary
personnel.
- Drafts and issues correspondence, communications, policy
documents, and student handbook updates on behalf of Division
leadership.
- Serves as the principal operational contact for the Division
office, directing inquiries and representing the Division to
students, faculty, staff, and external partners.
- Leads surveys, data collection, and preliminary analysis in
support of division initiatives, accreditation reporting, and
continuous improvement.
- Works with Egan Career Advisor to successfully link field
placements and related training to hiring pipelines.
- Support the development of new initiatives in the department
and supporting implementation and related activities.
- Assists with clinical and health system partner relationships
across the North Benson and Austin campuses.
- Owns the affiliation agreement register and lifecycle,
including initiation, renewal tracking, and routing for legal and
insurance review, and reconciles shared partner sites with the
Health Sciences Coordinator through a common partner register.
- Oversees ELNEC module assignment and tracking, and the
registration of student clinical sections in Workday.
- Owns the Division’s student success data, compiling, analyzing,
and reporting on retention, progression, academic risk, and
completion trends across Undergraduate Nursing, Graduate Nursing,
and Health Sciences.
- Serves as the single source for clinical site, preceptor, and
student-facing accreditation data.
- Coordinates the early alert system, preparing communications,
compiling at-risk data, and tracking follow-through for academic
risk students.
- Tracks academic standing actions, leaves of absence, and
academic exception processes; maintains student advising records
and faculty advising assignments each semester.
- Utilizes University systems to audit and update student records
and produce reports and degree audits.
- Coordinates orientation, student transition activities,
co-curricular programming, and professional formation events.
- Supports study abroad and interprofessional education (IPE)
logistics across programs.
- Partners with the Office of Accommodations designee on academic
accommodation processes.
- Represents the Division and the Egan School with
professionalism, efficiency, and courtesy, consistent with the
Jesuit mission of Fairfield University.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as
needed.
The expected wage range for this position is $29.97 to
$32.97/hour.
