Student Support Specialist – Part Time
Job Summary
The customer-focused, service-oriented part-time Student Support Specialist supports non-credit students within the Workforce, Business & Community Education (WBCE) division. This role provides program information, facilitates registration, and delivers general student support via phone, email, and in-person interactions. This position reports to the Director, Workforce, Business and Community Education Support Services.
Essential Job Functions
- Provides WBCE program information and guidance to prospective students on the telephone, by email, and in person
- Supports non-credit registration and data entry
- Communicates updates and maintains accurate program information
- Responds to student questions, including course changes and refunds
- Assists with general office, program and instructor support as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned.
