Duties/Responsibilities
- Collecting and exchanging dosimetry badges
- Regular inspection of safety related equipment
- Collection of biowaste
- Assist with day to day activities in the office
- Special projects as assigned

Position Summary
This position is responsible for providing support to the Safety and Compliance program at the University of Georgia Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position
- Preferred experience in a large and small animal care facility.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
- Ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal instruction.
- Attention to detail.
- Willing to work outside under all types of conditions.
Physical Demands

- Work independently.
- Work around medical waste including blood and biological hazardous waste.
