Campus School of Smith College Elementary School K- 6
PRIMARY FUNCTION(S): In the absence of the school nurse the substitute nurse will follow the Campus School health office policy and protocols. including:
- Respond to and record student illness, medical needs and injuries as they occur during the school day.
- Administer restricted medication to students
- Communicate with parents regarding illnesses, or injury to students.
- Conduct lice checks and follow-up as needed per campus school protocol
- Minimum Qualifications:
- RN licensure, two year nursing experience that includes working with elementary age children.
Compensation
Pay for this role is typically between $35-$37 hourly. Actual compensation will vary based on individual qualifications.
