Job Description
- Work cooperatively in carrying out the mission of the Student Outreach and Support (SOS) unit.
This position is fully on-site.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. The University will not sponsor applicants for this position for employment visas.
Shift
8 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday with occasional weekends and evenings
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in counseling or experience in higher education.
- At least three years’ experience in counseling/guidance, student personnel administration, higher education administration.
- Ability to communicate with a multiple individuals and/or groups in a professional and courteous manner
- Ability to coordinate complex activities with multiple parties, work independently; communicate effectively, orally and in writing, establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with persons contacted in the course of performing assigned duties.
- Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $45,156.80 - $64,272.00
Grade: GGS-009
