Position Highlights

The Department of History seeks Summer Session Instructors to teach a History Studies subject course, prepare syllabus, develop and grade exams, assign projects, coach students and more.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Department of History at the University of Arizona, seeks Summer Instructors for Summer 2026 to provide part time instruction. Pay will be contingent and based on student enrollment.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare course materials
  • Plan class lectures and assignments
  • Grade assigned papers and exams
  • Hold regular office hours
  • Administer exams

Minimum Qualifications

  • Completed MA in History or similar field to that of the course subject.
