Alternative splicing, the generation of multiple mRNA isoforms from a single gene, is associated with AML progression and therapy resistance. This project will utilise multiple genome-wide sequencing techniques, knock-out/knock-in mouse models, in vitro and in vivo models of leukaemia to investigate the role of alternative splicing in leukemogenesis and evaluate novel therapeutic strategies for the treatment of AML.
