Join Tauhokohoko, a kaupapa-driven programme within Te Kotahi Research Institute for Innovation that supports Māori development, connections and opportunity through research and engagement.
We are seeking an organised and proactive Administrator to provide essential operational and administrative support across a range of activities. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will coordinate meetings and events, manage communications, maintain records and provide financial and operational assistance to help ensure the smooth delivery of programme objectives.
This is a fixed-term, part-time position for 11.25 hours a week (0.3 FTE) based in Hamilton through to 2028. Days and hours of work can be negotiated. Salary will be in the range of $60,046 to $72,636 per year pro rata based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position.

You are an experienced administrator with excellent organisational skills and a strong attention to detail. You enjoy working in a collaborative environment, can confidently manage multiple priorities, and take pride in delivering high-quality support.
You will also bring:
- Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role
- Strong organisation, planning and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Accuracy and attention to detail in record and document management
- An understanding of te ao Māori, te reo Māori, tikanga Māori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- The ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders
Experience working in kaupapa Māori environments and/or coordinating events will be advantageous.
