Job Description:

• Lead TBM/FinOps governance to improve transparency and maximise technology investment value.
• Drive optimisation and strategic insights through cost modelling, analysis, and executive guidance.
• Full-time appointment on a fixed term basis for 12 months.
• Remuneration package commensurate with experience

About the area

About the opportunity

• Provide specialist TBM/FinOps expertise to build governance frameworks for transparent and strategic tech investment.
• Develop financial models, reporting, and optimisation strategies across technology portfolios.
• Drive TBM governance maturity and advise senior leaders on best‑practice TBM.

About you

• Relevant tertiary qualification in human science or demonstrated equivalent competency.
• Extensive senior experience in FinOps/TBM governance or technology finance, delivering strategic reporting and optimisation in complex organisations.
• Extensive senior experience in cloud financial management, delivering strategic cloud cost reporting, governance, and optimisation in complex, multi-cloud organisations.
• Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, software compliance, and hardware refresh planning within complex IT environments.
• Record enhancing technology investment governance in higher education or public sector, with strong people leadership.
