Job Title:     Instructor/Associate Professor of Nursing     

Reports To:  Dean, School of Nursing

Status:       Full-Time, Exempt             

This is a Full-Time Tenure Track Nursing Faculty position with teaching responsibilities in the classroom, skills laboratories, simulation lab, and/or clinical settings. Additional responsibilities include student advisement, curriculum and program development, and other academic duties as assigned in accordance with the mission and purpose of the College and the School of Nursing. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1. Teach in the pre-licensure and graduate nursing programs.
2. Provide course coordination and supervision of clinical adjunct faculty in accordance with course requirements.
3. Participate in the School of Nursing and College academic committees.
4. Participate in program planning, curriculum construction or revision, and fulfillment of accreditation requirements for the School of Nursing. 
5. Participate in College-wide activities (i.e., Open House, Admitted Students Day, etc.), and other College events

Qualifications

1. Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university required.
2. Doctorate degree in Nursing or related field preferred. (Candidates enrolled in doctoral program are invited to apply.)
3. Experience in Nursing higher education preferred.
4. At least five years of clinical experience is required.
5. Unencumbered current New York RN license or eligibility
