Lab Manager-Lyon College is a dynamic, growing institution seeking a full-time Lab Manager with a desired start date of July 1, 2024. As the college expands into graduate education as well as the establishment of the first and only dental and veterinary schools in the state, the Lab Manager will provide key support to the undergraduate program at the Batesville campus. Reporting to the Provost, the Lab Manager will serve as the Chemical Hygiene Officer at the Batesville campus; assist faculty with preparation for and setup/takedown of academic laboratory experiences that are part of the undergraduate curriculum; order and supervise the distribution of common lab materials, substances, and equipment, as needed; arrange for repairs and necessary maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment; and supervise part-time undergraduate student employees that assist in laboratory preparation and setup. Required Qualifications: a bachelor’s in chemistry or a related field, excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and a proactive attitude.
