Anthropology, Part Time Lecturer Pool
The Division of Anthropology at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Part-Time Lecturer Pool.
This is a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on as necessary. Qualified applicants will be contacted when positions are available.
APPOINTMENTS FROM THE PART-TIME POOL ARE TEMPORARY AND OFTEN MADE JUST PRIOR TO THE START OF THE ACADEMIC TERM. APPLICANTS MUST BE AVAILABLE ON VERY SHORT NOTICE.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidates must hold at least a Master’s degree in a field relevant to the curriculum of the Division of Anthropology. A Ph.D. or extensive professional experience is desirable for teaching upper-division courses (300 or 400 level) and required for 500 level graduate courses.
- Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Preference will be given to those with experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment.
- Preference will also be given to those with relevant work experience and those who bring professional capabilities.

Applications will be reviewed as needed. Anthropology has three Coordinators each responsible for one of three programs in Anthropology at CSUF – Archaeology, Cultural, and Evolutionary. Candidates interested in teaching classes should first contact the Coordinators in their area(s) of expertise.
