About the Role:
In this role you will lead the analysis, and reengineering of processes related to the University’s strategic initiatives. This role will focus on identifying areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across the University.
An example of duties you may perform include:
Lead the development of comprehensive business cases to support strategic and other prioritised capital funded initiatives for the University.
Support the Senior Manager Projects and Business Analysis and Digital Campus Services in achieving strategic goals and driving business process change across the University.
Oversee the capture, analysis, specification and re-engineering of the relevant University business processes to ensure that initiatives meet the University's needs.
Facilitate collaborative forums and activities to analyse business challenges, providing advice to working groups and committees.
Prepare thorough business requirements documentation to incorporate stakeholder needs for the development of software features including authoring and updating epics and user stories as well as creating context, data flow, journey maps and process diagrams.
Continuously evaluate, analyse, and communicate system requirements while updating functionality and process documentation.
About You:
You will have significant expertise and experience in identifying and driving business process transformations within an organization, utilising logical and analytical problem-solving methods and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
You will also have:
Knowledge or Training equivalent to: Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or extensive management experience and proven management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Demonstrated expertise in business process re-engineering and system integrations to enhance operational efficiency.
Demonstrated extensive experience in analysing business problems, utilizing data analysis, journey mapping, and process maps to inform business requirements.
Demonstrated ability in developing comprehensive business cases, including financial modelling to support strategic initiatives.
Demonstrated strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities with a track record of resolving complex issues.
Demonstrated experience in evaluating business needs and developing clear and concise solution requirements and managing those requirements through to implementation.
IIBA Certification
Prince2 and Agile certification desirable
This is a full-time (36.75 hours per week), continuing position at a HEP 9 classification with a salary of $124,066 per annum to $129,080 per annum plus 17% superannuation.
