About the Role
This casual role involves assessing and processing special consideration applications for students, adhering to university policies. You will manage inquiries, collaborate with university staff, and handle administrative tasks. Strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential for this position.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Determine eligibility for special consideration applications based on parameters established by the Coordinator, Special Consideration, and process applications through the relevant university system
- Provide students with relevant academic outcomes as determined and delegated by the relevant school/faculty (where applicable)
- Maintain accurate and complete case notes and records using university administrative systems
- Managing information in accord with Privacy legislation and University policy and processes.
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate is a highly organised and communicative individual with strong problem-solving skills. They thrive in fast-paced environments, collaborate effectively within teams, and demonstrate sound judgment in decision-making.
You will also have:
- A relevant post-secondary qualification, or an equivalent combination of relevant administrative experience and education/training
- Strong organisational skills, including a demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and work effectively and efficiently within a high volume environment
- Demonstrate COO values by acting in the best interest of your employer; displaying service excellence by striving to deliver beyond expectations and taking ownership of the delivery; and value working collaboratively in a team and between teams, connecting with people and building relationships in your workplace.

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
