Detailed DescriptionAbout the role


We are recruiting an Associate Professor to contribute to the learning, teaching and engagement activities within the TD school.


As a leader and experienced educator, you will design and develop innovative learning programs and contribute to the delivery of the School’s research agenda, while proactively engaging with industry professionals.



About You


You have demonstrated leadership qualities and proven higher education teaching capabilities in developing innovative experiences in transdisciplinary learning. You have strong industry connections with a proven record of collaboration.  To be successful, you will also ideally have the following attributes:


• A PhD in related domain with knowledge of transdisciplinary educational industry practice.

• Strong research publication track record

• Ability to secure competitive research grants

Remuneration/SalaryBase Salary Range: $175,059 to $191,905 pa (Level D)


This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.


The position is full-time and will be made on a continuing basis.

1. Demonstrated capacity in leading educational development, with strong higher education teaching achievements and demonstrated capabilities in developing innovative experiences in transdisciplinary learning. 

2. Experience in teaching more than one of the following areas: Transdisciplinary practices and method, complexity, sustainability, ecosystems and networks, frame creation, technology and innovation, and futures.  

3. A strong track record of scholarship and excellence in research, relative to opportunity and a history of successful competitive external funding and successful PhD supervision.

4. Completion of PhD in a related domain with a knowledge of transdisciplinary educational and industry practice.
