The Division of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work in the School of Health Sciences at the University of Manchester seek to employ an exceptional nurse, midwife, or allied health professional as a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Director of the Manchester Clinical Academic Centre (0.5FTE).

You will contribute to research, innovation and teaching and provide key leadership within the University and the Manchester Clinical Academic Centre (MCAC). We are particularly seeking candidates who can demonstrate the positive impacts they have made to the expansion of research and innovation across nursing, midwifery, and allied health disciplines and the transition of students/early career researchers into clinical academic roles. A research profile in digital healthcare, healthy aging, mental health, social research in health and social care or long-term conditions will be particularly welcomed. The post holder must be a registered nurse, midwife, or allied health professional.

As Deputy Director of the MCAC you will be working in collaboration with the Director to develop and deliver on plans to grow research capacity and impact across the University and Manchester Foundation Trust. You will also have a role in the translation and implementation of research findings creating a culture of evidence-based practice across the University and clinical settings.
