About You
The successful applicant will:
- Have an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education in program management or related field.
- Have proven experience in delivering outcomes of a complex program across multiple project streams, ideally including infrastructure, research and education programs.
- Have a proven ability to analyse complex problems, identify critical issues and develop strategies for delivering solutions.
- Have experience in financial management of program/project budgets and ability to interpret financial information.
- Excellent high-level interpersonal skills.
The Opportunity
Victoria University (VU) is seeking a motivated individual who will lead a program of works relating to the delivery of the Victoria University Centre of Excellence in Paramedicine at VU’s Sunshine Campus.
The Centre will create an Australian-First Centre of Excellence that will focus on teaching and learning including post qualification training, state of the art advanced digital simulation, research with impact and creating meaningful industry partnerships.
The role will play a critical role in leading the management of multiple project streams from feasibility, planning, budget management and co-design, through to construction and delivery of outcomes across teaching and learning, research and industry partnerships.
Working closely with the Director Strategic Engagement, the Program Manager will have a focus on best practice stakeholder engagement, lead project resources and personnel and drive substantial project work streams and complex tasks across the four focus areas for the Centre.
This role will provide you the opportunity to be a part of VU’s bold plan to be a global leader in dual sector learning with a profound commitment to inclusivity and protecting country.
This is a full-time role at a HEP10 classification, $132,932 per annum + 17% superannuation, working 36.75 hours per week over a 3-year fixed-term contract.
