The Department of Finance is now calling for applications for the position of Teaching Assistant.
Applicants should have a good Bachelor's Degree, preferably a Master’s Degree, in Finance, Economics, Insurance, Actuarial Science or related fields. In addition, applicants should have (i) good command of spoken English & Chinese, (ii) good presentation skills; (iii) a meticulous attitude, a strong sense of responsibility as well as good interpersonal and management skills; and (iv) willingness to work under pressure.
The appointee will assist in lectures, tutorials, preparation of course materials, grading, student consultation or supervision, and other academic activities as assigned.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for two years commencing August 2026, renewable subject to mutual agreement and good performance. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview.
