Salary on appointment will be £38,784 per annum, with an annual increment up to £46,049 per annum.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Fellow to join the School of Global Development to deliver lectures and seminars and carry out teaching-related duties.

You will contribute to the School’s undergraduate and postgraduate teaching for the 2025-26 academic year and will have an important role in the delivery of teaching and module administration in the area of Geography and Global Development. Duties will include contribution to an urban UK field course with the theme of legacies of empire, and an undergraduate course on Geographies of Global Development.

You will have demonstrable teaching experience in geography that includes some elements of global development, commensurate with stage of career and the ability to deliver teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in subject areas related to geography and global development and will be able to meet all essential criteria as detailed in the candidate brochure.

This full-time post is available from 1 January 2026 on a fixed-term basis for 6 months.
