Your opportunity
Under the guidance of the Manager, Library Systems and Resources, the Team Leader, Library Resources will lead and manage a small specialist team, overseeing the Library’s content management, and access services to deliver a user-focused collection that supports teaching, learning and research. You will optimise digital services and collections to ensure seamless access and an enhanced user experience, while contributing to strategic planning and continuous improvement in access services.
You will make an impact by:
- Under the guidance of the Manager, Library Systems and Resources, develop, implement, and evaluate client focused procedures, processes and guidelines that facilitate the evaluation of, access to and use of the Library’s physical and digital collections
- Driving innovation through AI, emerging technologies and evolving publishing models
- Using data and analytics to inform evidence-based decisions and strategic planning, continuously improving access and outcomes
- Building strong relationships with vendors, stakeholders and industry networks

You are a knowledgeable and forward-thinking library professional who combines strong technical expertise with leadership capability. You enjoy working at the intersection of data, systems and user experience, and are confident navigating a rapidly evolving scholarly and digital landscape.
To succeed in this role, you will also need:
- A relevant degree and experience in a university or research library environment
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and driving service excellence in a changing environment
- Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills
- Demonstrated technical expertise, experience working with library systems, collections and metadata, with an understanding of emerging trends

Your opportunity is:
Full-time, continuing (permanent)
Located at either Coffs Harbour, NSW 2450, Gold Coast, QLD 4225, or Lismore, NSW 2480. Relocation assistance is available, making it easier to join our regional communities
HEW Level 7. The base salary ranges from $108,361 - $117,660 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $137,662.
