About the role:
Operating within Placement Services, the Team Leader, Placement Services will lead the coordination and delivery of high quality clinical placement programs and support ACU students to have meaningful and enriching experiences. The position is responsible for overseeing placement operations across a range of allied health and professional disciplines, managing administrative functions, supervising clinical administrative staff, managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring compliance with relevant accreditation and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and coach the Placement Officer team to ensure efficient placement allocation and administration.
- Coordinate and monitor placements in accordance with accreditation standards, faculty and program requirements.
- Manage student placement agreements, compliance documentation, policies and procedures, placement software (InPlace) and reporting requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practice management strategies.
- Resolve placement-related issues and escalate risks as required.
- Contribute to strategic planning and service development initiatives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with ACU faculties, internal stakeholders, healthcare institutions and external providers.

- Total remuneration valued to $124,509 - $134,699 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $105,212 - $113,823 (pro rata) pa (HEW 7), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
- 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
- Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
