Technical Associate I, Gabrieli Lab
TECHNICAL ASSOCIATE I, GABRIELI LAB, McGovern Institute for Brain Research, will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of research studies that involve both children and adult participants, including neurodiverse individuals with diagnoses of autism, dyslexia, and/or ADHD. This role primarily involves participant outreach and scheduling, administering standardized behavioral assessments to measure language and cognition, coordination of testing scores and reports, operation of MRI scanner (required training will be provided), support for data analysis, and technical support for lab personnel as needed.
REQUIRED: A minimum of two years of relevant experience; Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline, e.g. social science, neuroscience, psychology/education, or related fields; organized and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment; good judgment and sensitivity interacting with children and families, including handling confidential information about learning abilities; excellent written and verbal communication skills. PREFERRED: At least a 1-year commitment.
Regular availability on weekends (9am-5pm Saturdays Sundays) and some afternoons/evenings (between 3-7pm), i.e. when children/adolescents are available for testing outside school hours required.
