The Advanced Institute for Materials Research (AIMR) at Tohoku University is seeking a technical staff member for the Safety and Health Management Office in the Research Support Division.

Work content and job description
The successful candidate will mainly be engaged in the following duties in the Safety and Health Management Office:
- Workplace inspections, safety and health education, and operational support for the Safety and Health Committee
- Periodic inspection and safety verification of research equipment and laboratory facilities
- Management of handling and administrative support for high-pressure gas, chemical substances, hazardous waste, etc.
- Planning and implementation of disaster prevention drills, and management of hazard maps
- Environmental conservation, preparation of various submission documents, and general administrative/clerical duties of the Safety and Health Management Office

Annual salary: 3 million yen - 5 million yen
Wages description: Salary system: Annual salary system.
Annual salary: 3,500,000 to 5,000,000 JPY, determined in accordance with the university's salary regulations, taking into account academic background, work experience, etc.
