Position Description

Performs skilled mechanical and/or analytical duties in the coordination and completion of projects. Work is performed under general guidelines using established procedures and evaluated on results obtained. May supervise subordinate employees.

Major/Essential Functions

• Manage and maintain Unit supply stock to ensure daily activities on Unit and in Clinics occur.
• Submits and completes supply orders timely.
• General services and Courier duties.
• Assists with Inventory and maintains Logs.
• Cross coverage and Unit Support.
• Effectively communicate with Texas Tech University Health Science Center (TTUHSC) and Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) staff.
• Complies with TDCJ and TTUHSC policy and procedures.
• Support the Values Based Culture of Texas Tech University Health Science Center.

Occasional Duties

• Other duties as assigned or required.

Required Qualifications

High school or equivalent and four years’ experience. Additional job related education may substitute for required experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in operations and purchasing medical supplies.
