Brief Summary of Work for this Position:
- Maintaining cell culture lines
- Running biological assays as determined by the P.I.
- Assisting with generation of essential reagents, buffers, material as needed.
- Autoclaving waste, stocking supplies, keeping liquid nitrogen and CO2 tanks full.
- Running cell viability assays to assess the selective toxicity of novel, targeted anti-cancer compounds on human breast and prostate cancer cells.
- Assessing the nuclear accumulation of the selectively toxic compounds in cancer cells.
- Investigating the mechanism of toxicity observed in cancer cells.
- Collecting experimental data, analyzing data, writing up results and publishing our results.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Masters in Chemistry, Biology or related field.

Work Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Work Days: Monday - Friday
Hours Per Week: 40
Anticipated Hiring Range: $23 - $28/hr
