Temporary Research Assistant - Multiple Vacancies

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant for the Center for Advanced Biotechnology and Medicine (CABM) on the Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences Campus in Piscataway, New Jersey.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

• Obtains and documents informed consent of study participants.
• Remotely administers evaluations and assessments to the study subjects via Zoom to measure cognitive function and the presence of behavioral and psychiatric disability.
• Scores assessments and evaluations according to manufacturers' instructions and enters participants' scores and raw data into a central database.
• Maintains accurate records of experimentation and research and ensures data confidentiality.
• Prepares written reports of evaluation results and provides them to study participants.
• Follows institutional compliance and research guidelines, and keeps all trainings up to date.
• Maintains the highest standard of confidentiality and implements good research practices related to sensitive data.
• Communicates effectively and regularly with the research team and Principal Investigator.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in psychology or a related discipline.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Standing, sitting, walking, talking, seeing, and hearing. Manual dexterity and vision sufficient for administering evaluations and observing behavior. Computer data input required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT;

Laboratory and office environment. Universal precautions are mandatory.

Salary: $28.00/ hour
