Temporary Executive (Office of Graduate Programmes) (4.5-month contract)

Job Description

  • Independently manage the incumbent’s portfolio in academic administration, ensuring continuity of operations across admissions, verification, and registration processes.
  • Oversee and perform complex credential verification for non-US qualifications, including assessment of authenticity, equivalency, and compliance with university requirements.
  • Exercise judgement in handling exceptional or high-risk cases, including incomplete, inconsistent, or disputed academic records.
  • Manage end-to-end verification workflows, including tracking, escalation, and resolution of cases within required timelines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for verification-related matters, liaising with internal stakeholders (Departments, Admissions teams) and external parties (students, awarding institutions).
  • Ensure proper documentation, audit trails, and compliance with university and regulatory requirements for all verification cases.
  • Support examination results processing with responsibility for accuracy checks and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate and support large-scale student registration operations, including oversight of on-site verification processes.
  • Contribute to process continuity by maintaining and applying existing workflow structures, templates, and internal practices established within the portfolio, as well as to perform other duties as required to ensure operational continuity during the maternity cover period.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree holder, preferably with prior experience in administrative or operations support.
  • At least 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience in an administrative, education, or operations support role.
  • Familiarity with handling documentation, data checks, and process-driven tasks.
  • Ability to manage high-volume and time-sensitive work with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
