Temporary Faculty (CHSSA) - Social Sciences Academic Year 2025-2026
The University of North Carolina Wilmington is dedicated to the integration of teaching, mentoring, research, and service. The College of Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts is seeking temporary/part-time faculty for Summer 2025, Fall 2025, and Spring 2026, with the ability to teach in one or more of the following Social Sciences departments and disciplines: Anthropology, International Studies, Public and International Affairs, and Sociology and Criminology.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: For undergraduate course teaching, a Master's degree with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution. For graduate course teaching, a terminal degree in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution. Those with equivalent verifiable professional experience, certifications, and licensures in the discipline may also be considered.
Special Instructions: Prior to the official appointment, candidates selected for hire must demonstrate eligibility to teach assigned courses based on official transcripts and other documentation.
