Job Summary

As a Temporary Lecturer in Pedagogical Sciences, you will teach in the Bachelor and Master programs at the Institute of Pedagogical Sciences, including academic teacher training programs. This role involves replacing temporarily unavailable colleagues and includes a variety of teaching tasks based on your expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide teaching in Bachelor and Master programs, including group supervision, tutoring, skills training, grading, and support in course coordination.
• Tasks may cover academic skills or clinical skills subjects.
• Work collaboratively in a team, participate in supportive interprofessional meetings, and contribute to evidence-informed approaches for child development.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A completed Master's degree in one of the Social Sciences, preferably Pedagogical Sciences.
• Preferably, experience as a lecturer in higher education.
• Affinity for applying digital technology in teaching and the ability to use it effectively and inspirationally.
• Excellent speaking, reading, and writing skills in Dutch.
• Ability to quickly connect with students and colleagues, work independently, and collaborate effectively.

What the Employer Offers

• A temporary employment contract for 0.4 FTE (15.2 hours) to 1.0 FTE (38 hours) per week, for a maximum of 12 months, with no prospect of permanent employment.
• Salary ranging from €3,378 to €5,331 gross per month based on a 38-hour workweek, scaled according to the CAO Nederlandse Universiteiten.
