"Temporary Registered Nurse"

As a Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) with the University of Notre Dame Fire Department, you will be part of the Event Medical First Aid Team, providing medical support at a wide range of campus events, including all home athletic events.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide immediate medical care and first aid to individuals experiencing sudden illness or injury
• Assess patient condition and determine appropriate action, including treatment within first aid protocols or referral to an emergency room or University Health Services, with support from EMTs
• Document all care provided and maintain professional communication with fellow event staff, emergency services, and University personnel
• Work in collaboration with other departments and event teams to ensure a coordinated response to medical needs during events

• All home football games
• Men's and Women's Basketball, Hockey, Soccer, Lacrosse, Volleyball, Softball, and Baseball games
• Concerts
• Junior Parents Weekend
• Holy Half Marathon
• AYOP Baton Competition
• Flu shot clinics
• Local high school graduations
• Commencement Weekend
• Other major campus and community events
