Temporary Research Assistant
Job Description Summary
This position supports the research responsibilities associated with the laboratory of Dr. Kyle Vining.
Job Description
- 20% Perform experimental models relating to fabrication and characterization of biomaterials
- 20% Perform cell culture with cells and isolated primary cells
- 15% Perform molecular and cellular biology assays
- 15% Compile, analyze and evaluate data
- 5% Draft scientific abstracts and manuscripts for conferences and peer-reviewed scientific publications.
- 5% Present at regularly scheduled lab and department seminars
- 10% Provide and maintain expertise in innovative solutions focused on the responsible stewardship of Penn Dental Medicine and its community
- 10% Perform additional duties as assigned. Provide and maintain expertise in innovative solutions focused on the responsible stewardship of Penn Dental Medicine and its community experience.

$7.25 - $20.00 Hourly Rate
Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level.
