Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate and detailed laboratory notebooks, ensuring compliance with all laboratory protocols, and adhering to all biosafety and containment requirements for gene drive insects. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute effectively in a collaborative research environment while maintaining the highest standards of scientific integrity, data management, and laboratory safety.

Minimum Experience/Education:

• Relevant Master’s degree or Relevant Bachelor’s and 3 or more years of relevant experience, or relevant independent experience and education

Department Required Skills:

• Must be able to work with insects
• Experience performming standard molecular biology tasks

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education:

• Experience in molecular biology and genetic analyses of data obtained from performing crosses with blow flies
• Valid driver’s license
