Job Description
- Manage the day-to-day operations of PitStop, including opening and closing duties, ensuring that supplies and resources are adequately stocked, and maintaining a welcoming and well-organised environment. Serve as the first point of contact for student who walk in to PitStop, providing warm reception and referring students who require support to the appropriate staff member in a timely and sensitive manner.
- Support the Student Wellness team in preparing for programmes and outreach initiatives. This may include manning roadshows and booths, engaging students and promoting awareness of Student Wellness support and resources across the NUS community.
- Assist with monitoring and triaging the Student Wellness shared mailbox, responding to routine enquiries and escalating non-routine or sensitive communications to the appropriate staff member promptly.
- Provide general administrative support to the section including collating information and data, taking notes at meetings, preparing documentations and presentations.
- Provide support in the coordination and preparation of basic publicity and communications materials for Student Wellness programmes and initiatives.
Qualifications
- A Diploma or Degree in any discipline, preferably in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Communications, or a related field.
- Prior experience in an administrative, student services, or community outreach role would be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a warm, approachable disposition, particularly when engage in with students who may be in distress.
- Ability to follow established protocols and standard operating procedures, including referral pathways and email response templates.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage logistics, supplies, and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and supporting multiple work streams concurrently.
