We are seeking an expert in an interdisciplinary field of research that combines expertise in bioprocess engineering, automation, and process optimization . Furthermore, the candidate’s current research should apply modern methods of robotics, such as stochastic and data-driven learning approaches, precise monitoring and control using microcontrollers (μC), or novel methods of image processing. In addition, the candidate should demonstrate research experience in one or more of the following areas: machine learning (e.g. deep learning) for process models, or the optimization of bioprocess development workflows across different scales (e.g. multi-fidelity Bayesian optimization).
