"Tenure-Track Assistant Professor"

The Department of Biochemistry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the broadly defined areas of chemical biology, computational chemistry, protein design and biomolecular mechanisms. We seek creative applicants with bold vision and demonstrated excellence in research at the interface of chemistry, biology, and medicine, who can apply their expertise to important problems in basic and translational sciences. Einstein offers an exciting and collaborative academic environment that includes faculty with diverse research interests spanning chemical biology, mechanistic enzymology, cancer biology, structural biology, pharmacology, cell biology, biochemistry, and small-molecule and biologics discovery, as well as affiliations with basic science and disease-focused institutes and centers, and strong ties to clinical departments within the Montefiore Medical Center. Successful candidates should hold a Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. and have expertise in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Computational Chemistry, Chemical or Biological Engineering, Mechanistic Enzymology, or a related discipline. In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $130,000-$220,000.
