Tenure-track Faculty Opportunities in Immunology Research

The Department of Microbiology & Immunology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Einstein) and the Montefiore Einstein Comprehensive Cancer Center (MECCC) invite applications from outstanding candidates with expertise in immunology-focused basic and translational research. Areas of particular interest include tumor immunology, cancer immunotherapeutics, immune metabolism, human immunology and cancer vaccine design. Einstein is a world-renowned research-intensive medical school with outstanding research faculty and an exceptionally collegial and collaborative environment. The Montefiore medical system serves a large and diverse catchment area providing extensive resources for clinical and translational cancer research. MECCC is an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center and is one of the oldest NCI funded cancer centers in the U.S. Candidates with basic or translational immunology research interests will be considered for tenure-track positions (Assistant and Associate Professor levels) with primary appointment in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, https://www.einsteinmed.edu/departments/microbiology-immunology/, which hosts a growing faculty with broad interest and expertise in basic immunology and related disease mechanisms, with strong emphasis on cancer and immunotherapeutics. Candidates whose skills and experience align with our commitment to diversity and excellence in research and its relevance to the communities we serve are strongly encouraged to apply. Highly competitive start-up packages and salary commensurate with experience ($130-160K) with extensive benefits will be provided together with potential opportunities for joint appointments in clinical departments if desired.

Applicants must have a PhD, MD, or equivalent degree and a track record of research excellence. Applicants for Associate Professor level positions should have a record of successful grant funding.
