Position Description
The Department invites applications for a tenure-track position in fluid mechanics or fluid-structure interactions. The candidate must teach courses in advanced fluid mechanics, experimental investigation, and fundamentals of mechanical engineering. Responsibilities include teaching and supervising students, conducting research, publishing, participating in departmental activities, and enhancing the institution's reputation.
Selection Criteria
Requirements include a PhD in mechanical engineering or a relevant field, a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, proven research and teaching abilities, commitment to service, French language proficiency, and alignment with key competencies such as analysis, creativity, communication, and leadership. Candidates must be members of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec or eligible.
Additional Information
New professors receive support for research and funding. Resources are available for teaching development, and childcare services are on campus.
