"Tenure-Track Faculty Positions in Accounting"

The Accounting and Information Systems (AIS) Division of the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver Campus) invites applications for up to two tenure-track faculty positions in Accounting. Although preference will be given to applications at the Assistant Professor rank, we will also consider applications at the Associate Professor rank.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applications should have completed or be nearing completion of a Ph.D. in Accounting, and have demonstrated potential for excellence in research and teaching or a record of outstanding research and teaching commensurate with the rank. Applicants working in any area of accounting are encouraged to apply.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Duties include developing and maintaining an active research program aimed at making a significant contribution to the profession, teaching in the undergraduate and graduate programs, supervising Ph.D. students, as well as contributing to other teaching and administrative initiatives of the Accounting and Information Systems Division and the Sauder School of Business. Teaching and service requirements are similar to other research-intensive universities.

Appointment is available July 1, 2026 or January 1, 2027, and is subject to final budgetary approval. The expected pay range for this position is $220,000-$300,000 per annum.
