Background of the recruitment and description of the project
The Center for Higher Education Development at Toho University invites applications for a tenure-track position in English language education. The successful candidate will teach English courses for students in health-related disciplines, contribute to curriculum development and university-wide English education, and support the planning and administration of study abroad programs.
Work content and job description
Classes in charge:
Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Health Science, Faculty of Nursing
Spring semester: A minimum of 10 class periods per week (50 minutes per class: 3 - 4 days/week)
Fall semester: A minimum of 10 class periods per week (50 minutes per class: 3 - 4 days/week)
Management of study abroad programs
Administrative responsibilities: Involvement in curriculum design and planning; coordination of classes
Other responsibilities:
Working on university committees, or entrance examination-related duties, etc.
