Teaching

• Teach graduate-level MSW courses related to behavioral health, including but not limited to:
• Substance Use Disorders and Co-Occurring Disorders
• Behavioral Health Assessment and Intervention
• Trauma-Informed, Recovery-Oriented, and Harm Reduction Approaches
• Integrated Behavioral Health Practice
• Advanced Practice or Policy electives aligned with SUD and OUD
• Contribute to curriculum development and ongoing program assessment
• Advise and mentor MSW students in academic and professional development

Research and Scholarship

• Maintain an active research agenda focused on behavioral health, SUD, OUD, or related areas
• Publish in peer-reviewed journals and present at professional conferences
• Pursue external funding to support research and programmatic initiatives
• Engage in interdisciplinary and community-based research collaborations aligned with the MSW Department’s mission

Service

• Participate in MSW Department, School, and University service activities
• Contribute to accreditation, assessment, and program development efforts
• Support community partnerships and professional service related to behavioral health and substance use treatment
