Tenured Associate or Full Professor in Learning Design and Technology
The Department of Teaching, Learning, and Culture in the College of Education and Human Development at Texas A&M University invites applications for one full-time, tenured position in Learning Design and Technology at the rank of Associate Professor or Full Professor to begin in the 2026-2027 academic year. The successful candidate may also be considered for an administrative appointment as the Director of the Texas A&M Institute for Technology-Infused Learning depending on prior experience (https://titil.tamu.edu).
This is a nine-month appointment. The anticipated start date is August 1, 2026.
Position responsibilities include a) maintaining external funding and a research agenda that has achieved or will achieve national/international significance, b) teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level, c) enhancing and elevating learning design and technology research and practice applied to the preparation of the next generation of teachers, researchers, instructional designers, and academic leaders, and d) service to the department, university, and profession.
