Lecturer
Position Overview
The Department of Management and Human Resources at The Ohio State Universitys Max M. Fisher College of Business invites applications for up to two full-time Lecturers. We seek candidates with expertise and teaching experience in organizational behavior, human resources, management, entrepreneurship and innovation, and/or business strategy.
Experience in each area is not a requirement, but ideally candidates are experienced in teaching in more than one discipline. The appointment is expected to begin in Autumn 2026.
The main tasks will include: teaching in different modalities (in-class, online, hybrid) throughout the academic year, curriculum/syllabus design, content and materials development, and service activities. The selected candidate(s) will be expected to complete activities and support for developing and teaching undergraduate and/or graduate students, depending on chosen candidates degree certification.
In person classes are taught on the Universitys main campus in Columbus, Ohio.

- Presenting course material and guiding students through assignments

Education and Experience Requirements
- Masters degree in a related field of study
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrated teaching experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively engage with students in both traditional and online learning environments
- Ability to collaborate with fellow instructors, graduate teaching associates, and undergraduate teaching assistants
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
- Demonstrated success in managerial and/or leadership positions
- Strong teaching outcomes demonstrated through student evaluations
Desired Qualifications
- PhD or similar terminal degree in a related field of study
- Demonstrated experience with the use of Artificial Intelligence
- Demonstrated ability to incorporate creative pedagogy in the classroom
The College
Fisher College of Business has a rich research tradition and engages through the college and the Graduate School in programs at the undergraduate, master and doctoral levels. The nationally ranked Fisher College of Business is one of 15 colleges within the university, with approximately 9,000 undergraduate and 1,200 graduate students.

The mission of the Department of Management and Human Resources (MHR) is to offer and maintain outstanding nationally and internationally recognized academic programs at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels and to provide an environment conducive to faculty research of the highest caliber. The department strives to develop its faculty throughout their careers in the achievement of excellence in teaching, research, and service. MHR faculty contribute research and teaching in five areas: Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, Human Resources, International Business, and Organizational Behavior.
