A unique opportunity exists for a foundational People and Culture leader with the remit to develop a new comprehensive strategy that is fully aligned with the University’s new mission, values, and long-range strategic goals. Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor, the DVC will work with leaders to build a workforce and culture that enables the University to deliver on its strategy and ensure a modern, positive, high-performing workplace for its staff and for the community.

Demonstrating an ability to participate in whole-of-University decision making, dynamic candidates will possess transferrable experience from driving transformation and generating foundational structures in large, complex strategic and operational contexts, in addition to the professional credibility to execute the sophisticated demands of the role. Outstanding communication skills and a strong customer service ethos are essential, as are the abilities to influence, think creatively, act innovatively and exercise effective judgment in a dynamic environment.
