The department of Theatre at UWM serves approximately 170 majors in BFA degrees in production/design, musical theatre, and acting, a liberal-arts-based BA, and a K-12 teaching certification program in theatre. The theatre program at UWM is focused on uncovering and developing the creative and critical potential of each student, providing robust and challenging learning environments that foster a broad range of theatrical processes and experiences. These include theatre production across various styles, as well as devised, community-based, and site-specific work.
