Title IX and Student Accessibility Coordinator
Position Summary
The Title IX & Student Accessibility Coordinator supports and advances student-centered compliance efforts related to Title IX, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Section 504. This role integrates case management, education, and accessibility oversight to ensure equitable, consistent, and effective support and response for students.
Description of Key Responsibilities
Compliance, Policy, and Program Oversight
- Lead and coordinate student-centered institutional compliance efforts related to Title IX, ADA/Section 504, and other applicable civil rights laws.
Case Management, Investigations, and Grievance Processes
- Oversee the intake, assessment, and resolution of student complaints involving sex- and gender-based misconduct, retaliation, and disability discrimination.
Training, Prevention, and Education
- Serve as a primary educator for the campus community on Title IX, interpersonal violence prevention, and ADA/Section 504 compliance.
Data, Reporting, and Assessment
- Support institutional reporting requirements that directly impact students, including Clery Act compliance.
Collaboration and Campus Engagement
- Coordinate with internal and external partners to support student needs.
Operational and Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain organized, confidential student records and documentation.
