Toolroom Engineer / Toolmaker – PM Shift

£37,000 DOE

Monday–Thursday 14:00–22:00 | Friday 13:00–20:00

West Midlands | Perm

We're looking for an experienced Toolmaker or Toolroom Engineer to join an established manufacturing business specialising in cold roll-formed metal profiles.

The role involves:

Fault-finding, repairing and servicing press tooling.
Die and punch changes, regrinding and tool assembly.
Setting power presses and manufacturing replacement parts.
Operating workshop machinery, including lathes, mills and grinders.
Carrying out planned maintenance and tooling improvements.

We're looking for someone with press tooling or toolmaking experience, strong fault-finding skills and a hands-on approach. Training is available for any skill gaps.
